As a 31 year veteran of the Ottawa Police Service Syd has many years of speaking experience and is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers. All his work is based on his own experiences and unique insights as a front line worker and a 28 year survivor of PTSD and peer supporter for officers involved in fatal to near fatal work related incidents.
